We asked Margaret about her 'Author of the Year' win, and here's what she had to say:

AA:  Hi Margaret, Congratulations on your win!   What is your reaction to being named AussieAuthors ‘author of the year’?

MT: Very excited, and honoured!!

AA: What impact do you think your status as ‘author of the year’ will do for you?

MT:  It will raise my profile in the publishing arena, and give credence to my writing.

AA: Did you imagine four years ago that you’d have so many books published?

MT: No, I hoped and worked hard to achieve my goal of publication, but doubted it would ever happen.  Dreams don't always come true.

AA: How has being a published author changed your life?

MT:  It has made me a lot busier.  lol

AA:  Thanks Margaret, for taking the time to talk to us!
