ABOUT CHRISTINA CARLISLE BEST SELLING AUTHOR Christina Carlisle has a lifestyle as passionate and dramatic as the stories she writes. As an International Ambassador for Variety - the Children's Charity, she mingles with the show-biz elite and has worked with some of the most influential people around the world. She is Public Relations Practitioner and also a University Lecturer. Christina lives life in the fast lane and has succeeded in many fields but her main passion is writing romance, being a best selling and multi-published author. Christina had her first romance novel published in 2003 by a Canadian e-book publisher. Since that time she has had six books accepted, all in the contemporary romance genre, by two American publishers being New Concepts and Books Unbound. A further book "Charlotte" is due for release in 2007 through Whiskey Creek Press. Although mainly through e-book publishers, three of Christina's books have been produced in trade paperback selling through Walden Books, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Borders. Two of her books "Husband for Hire" and "Wade's Woman" have topped the prestigious Fictionwise Charts holding Number One and Two positions and over a six month period outselling many top authors including Dan Brown, Stephen King, John Le Carre and Stephanie Laurens. In July 2006, Christina resigned from her position as the Director of Public Relations for a major South Australian Hospital to concentrate on writing full time. At present she is working on her first mystery thriller "Kill Me Quick," which is set in the English Lake District. Christina is also negotiating with a Hollywood agent who is considering her books for possible television movies.
