DALE
HARCOMBE

Dale writes fiction and poetry. In March 2005 Ginninderra
Press published 'Kaleidoscope' a collection of Dale's poems.
'Kaleidoscope' can be purchased through Dale's web site at
www.daleharcombe.com. Many of her poems have been
published in literary journals and newspapers in Australia
and overseas.
In 2005 Dale spent a week at Varuna Writers’ Centre working
on 'A World Away,' an adult novel. This is currently under
consideration with a UK
publisher. |
Dale also writes for children and young adults.
'Chasing after the Wind,' her novel for 11-14 year olds was published by
Scholastic in 1997. 'Karaoke Kate' and 'Red Alert' for younger readers
will be published in 2006 and 2007 by Wendy Pye.
Earlier this year she ran a weekend poetry workshop
at the NSW writers Centre. She is running another on fiction later this
year. Details on her website. When not writing or conducting creative
writing workshops, Dale is a manuscript assessor for several manuscript
assessment agencies and a book reviewer.

Dale reviews general
fiction, historical, fantasy, romance , crime, thrillers and suspense.
She also reviews non-fiction, biography and poetry, as well as
children's and young adult fiction.
Her preferences do not include horror or erotica.
CHERYL WRIGHT

Cheryl
Wright is an award-winning Australian author, freelance
journalist, and editor.
In addition
to an array of other projects, she is the owner of the
Writer2Writer.com website and the Writer to Writer monthly
ezine for writers, and is co-owner of AussieAuthors.com – a
website dedicated to the publicity of Australian writers.
She is
widely published, including novels, short stories,
non-fiction books, poetry, and features. |
Her
work has been published in anthologies and other collections.
She also dabbles in
website design and other creative endeavours. Cheryl presents workshops
at schools, libraries, and writer’s conferences, and teaches writing
online when time permits.
Her forthcoming releases
are Winter Sabbatical and Saving Emma from Black Velvet
Seductions and The Write Resources from Central Avenue Press.

Cheryl reviews romance, romantic suspense,
thrillers and suspense. She is also happy to review mainstream
and fantasy, and some non-fiction titles - especially
writing-related. She does not review horror because she
doesn't particularly enjoy reading it.
Warren Thurston

Warren
Thurston writes school plays, short and flash stories for
adults and runs two web sites Webcopy2Write and Pentales.
He had a young adult novel - Gladiss and the Alien -
published by Mountain Mist Productions in 2006. There are
another four young adult novels in various stages of
production with one ready for submission to publishers.
An avid reader, Warren ran a book review and marketing
service for authors from 2001 to 2006. His reviews have
appeared on numerous online literary sites. |
Currently he is
busy establishing his two latest online adventures. Selling short and
flash stories for adults from his Pentales web site, and producing
simple web sites for small business from his Webcopy2Write site.
Warren is currently employed as a public servant in the Australian
Defence Department. After thirty-five years of service he is looking
forward to retiring late next year, so he can devote more time to his
writing and online businesses.

The fiction
books Warren likes to review cover all genres except horror and
erotica. He also finds most non-fiction works of interest,
and claims it is a great way to expand his knowledge of the world
around him. His favourite genre is young adult novels, as they
allow the imagination to explore new worlds without any inhibitions.
