Cheryl says: I write a lot of non-fiction, but my first love is fiction. Around ten years ago, when I had to give up my day-job due to a serious medical condition, non-fiction writing was a way to keep my family afloat.  Going from a full-time job paying $40,000/year plus, to virtually nothing was not easy.
